Shelbyville Monument was established in 1921 by Mr. Purcell Lee. The company was originally located on 3rd Street in Shelbyville, Kentucky close to the old entrance to the Grove Hill Cemetery. For over 20 years, Shelbyville Monument has had an office next to Grove Hill Cemetery at the Mt Eden Road / Hwy 53 entrance.
